Terrified German shepherd is scared of humans and cries like one too? Some people see dogs as ferocious attack animals that don’t feel fear. Despite of the typical police and military roles they can be scared of us, as humans can be of them.

They only attack when they think it is their last recourse. It is fear that spurs their fight or flight instincts, and also when they are protecting their pack or family.

Some dogs are terrified of humans because of past abuses that they may have received from them. No one knows why this one particular homelessness German Shepherd is so scared of people. Whatever the reason she may have, her cries in fear are heart-wrenching.

They Call Her Rain

Carey Linnell called Hope for Paws to help rescue a wolf-like appearance German Shepherd that has been hiding near a van for several days now. She has given the dog something to eat, but she knows that it needs a more permanent home. When rescuers Eldad and Loreta arrived, they saw that the dog was indeed behind the van. Loreta approached the dog, who looked scared of them.

Loreta gave the dog some food, and although she would eat them, she refused to let Loreta come near her. They first had to secure the area so that the dog, which they named Rain, would not run away. They had to make several attempts to put a snare around her neck. Rain was so terrified that it cried several times loudly. It was also cowering and shivering in fear. Eventually, she calmed down and gave her trust to her rescuers.

She Is Now Sassy Pants Dunbar

After securing the dog in their car, they took her to a hospital. There they cleaned her up and gave her treatment. The next day, one of their friends, Allison, dropped by and saw Rain.

She instantly fell in love with her and started the adoption process. The terrified German shepherd (Rain) was renamed Sassy Pants Dunbar and is living in a happy home where she is loved. She also has a big brother now, a dog named Ernie. Watch the video of the German Shepherd crying like a human below.
