Puppy mills in Colorado new legislation hopes to crack down the way they do business. Dog lovers always shun the idea of a puppy farms because of the horrible conditions of dogs inside these places. Most of the time, puppy mills breed dogs with impunity and without respect for the dignity of dogs.
This is the reason why many dog lovers call for the closure of most commercial dog breeding facility or puppy farms in the United States.
The clamor of these dog lovers did not fall on deaf ears as two US Representatives heed to the call. The same solons architect the passing of laws that would protect dogs and prevent puppy mills in Colorado from proliferating.
According to Brian Fitzpatrick and Charlie Crist, Americans are freedom-loving citizens, and under this freedom, dogs must also take part. It is not only Americans who enjoy freedom in the country, but also dogs, they argue.
Puppy Farms Are Inhuman
Both legislators believe that puppy farms are inhuman and should not continue with their barbaric deeds. The two co-authored HR 4691, which is known as the Welfare of Our Friends. Under this bill, breeding of dogs inside puppy will are prohibited. If violated, those guilty will be suspended or get their licenses revoked.
Meanwhile, the Puppy Protection Act is the second bill. In this bill, the two congressmen call for higher standards of breeding in the country. The solons said that breeding is not prohibited in the country as long as it does not disrespect the dignity of the dogs involved.
For both Fitzpatrick and Crist, these two bills are needed more than ever to preserve the rights of animals. According to the two, the bills are in keeping with the clamor of the people.
This call is for the government to close down puppy mills as well as render respect to dogs. The solons promised that they would do their best for these bills to be passed into laws because they see the positive out of these two.
