Working for a dog rescue organization a parolee changed his life around? The Villalobos Rescue Center takes pit bulls to give them a 2nd chance at a better life. They also take in parolees to give them the same opportunity. It’s what makes this rescue center unique.

Sometimes the parolees aren’t as cooperative as they should with the animal rescue group. When Spencer first worked for the Villalobos, he got into trouble. He and another new parolee were saying terrible things about the owner’s daughter behind her back.

Tia, the owner, gave the two parolees a scolding. The other one chose to leave while Spencer made the decision to stay at the center. Since that day, he did very well and became a great help.

Spencer said working for the Villalobos’ dog rescue organization changed the way he saw life. He wasn’t going back to the streets committing crimes. Instead, he spent time taking care of wonderful dogs.

Dog Rescue Operation Opportunity

Since Spencer has been doing well at the center, Tia told him that he’s allowed to do more if he wants to. This means Spencer has to goal signal to join dog rescue operations. Fortunately, after some time, Tania came to him to ask for help.

It’s not recommended to go on rescue missions alone. Spencer assisted Tania during a crucial operation. One pit bull got out of her kennel and went under a house. This was during the day when the sun was scorching hot.

It took a while before Tania and Spencer could coax the dog to come out. They offered food, and Spencer was very cooperative every step of the way. Eventually, they were able to put the dog in a leash, and she was taken to the center.

The rescued dog was named Duchess, and she hung out with Spencer most of the time. Tania found it adorable that Spencer was taking things to heart. Spencer was also enjoying what he’s doing and how his life turned out to be.
